I'm Lauren, a copywriter and editor based in Los Angeles. I started my career with positions at W Magazine and Moda Operandi before landing at Cosmopolitan, where I was the fashion editor for four years. I currently contribute to Cosmo, Who What Wear, and The Cut in a freelance capacity, writing shopping roundups and service stories in the fashion and beauty space.

After five years in NYC, I moved to Los Angeles to pivot into copywriting at Alo Moves. As senior copywriter for the on-demand fitness and mindfulness app under Alo Yoga, I spearhead messaging across paid ads, social, email, site, and blog. In February 2025, the Alo Moves team was integrated into the rest of the company. In addition to my original responsibilities, I now write across all channels for the Alo brand as a whole. Collaboration with every team is key, and I enjoy brainstorming and experimenting with new ways to engage current and potential new customers.
